When you register with PawClear, we collect information you provide directly, including:

• Personal information: your name, email address, and mailing address
• Animal information:your animal's name, species, breed, age, and photo
• Payment information: credit card or payment details, processed securely by Stripe (we never store raw card numbers)

We also collect limited technical data automatically when you use our site, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This information helps us improve our service and diagnose technical issues.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your registration record
• Generate your certificate, ID card, and QR verification page
• Process your payment and issue receipts
• Respond to support requests and inquiries
• Send transactional emails (registration confirmations, renewal reminders)
• Improve our products and site experience

We do not use your information for advertising profiling or sell it to third parties for marketing purposes.

We share your information only as necessary to provide our services:

• Stripe: payment processing. Stripe receives the information necessary to complete your transaction and stores payment data per their own privacy policy.
• Supabase:database and file storage. Your registration data and documents are stored securely in Supabase's infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. We may disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid legal process.

PawClear uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use our site. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to measure aggregate site traffic.

You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality, including the ability to stay logged in.

We retain your registration data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information from our active systems within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.

Premium registrations include lifetime record storage as a product feature. Customers who purchased lifetime storage can request deletion at any time; doing so will end lifetime storage benefits.

You have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: update or correct inaccurate information in your account
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Portability: request an export of your registration data in a common format

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS, and stored data is protected by access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

PawClear is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of PawClear after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
